Trichology

What is trichology?

Trichology is the paramedical science of hair, hair loss, and skin-related problems. It includes the study of human hair and skin diseases, as well as the evaluation of the cause (s) and treatment of these disorders.

The word “trichology” comes from the Greek word “trichomes”, which means “hair”, and was considered a separate discipline in Britain at the end of the 19th century. It became a specific para-medical discipline in 1902.

Today, trichology is recognized as the “bridge between cosmetology and dermatology”.

Trichology is designed to provide results

The modern world created an environment parfait for what the lips are doing. Use augmentation of drug consumption, substitutive hormonal treatment, stress, good nutrition, mineral care, and sedentary mode, more or fewer women font face in this situation.

Stopping hair loss is not so easy and applying a different product. To your hair for a short time. This requires understanding. Prevent the causes of hair loss in the first place.

After working with thousands of clients at the evolution hair loss institute, William was able to develop a very unique hair growth philosophy to create a simple and easy-to-understand WTS system. This process is called the gaunitz trichology (GTM) method.

GTM approved products are used to successfully treat multiple types in clinics around the world. Used correctly, this multi-treatment regimen helps men and women to regrow lost hair in general within 60 days in the past 3-5 years.

What does a trichologist do?

Trichologists specialize in the structure, function, and pathology of the human hair and scalp. Trichology is an official field of study in some countries, such as the UK, but it is not here in the US yet. The training usually consists of 2 years of home study, supplemented by clinical observation.

Difference between trichology and hair transplantation

A trichologist is someone who specializes in and helps people with hair or scalp problems. Your job is to question him as a patient and thoroughly examine his blood to assess the problem and its cause. Then the trichologist must decide if treatment is needed and if the problem can be treated by him or by another specialist.

If your trichologist believes the underlying disease is the cause, including a team of dermatologists from the private clinic, you may be referred to another specialist for further medical examination.

Some patients (especially men experiencing male pattern baldness) may be in favor of an FUE hair transplant to restore areas of hair loss, in which case you will be referred to one of the private clinic’s elite hair surgeons.

What conditions does a trichologist treat?

Hair loss, thinning, or damaged hair can be a problem for both men and women, especially when the cause is unclear. Determining the exact cause of your hair complaints is the key to creating a successful treatment plan. Often the causes of most complaints are environmental or health factors, but working with a trained trichologist will be able to analyze all possible causes.

A trichologist can help treat scalp issues that cover everything from dandruff to psoriasis and dermatitis. It may be normal for you to be referred to a dermatologist and your personalized scalp treatment plan may include a bespoke diet/nutrition program and everything from specially designed shampoos, medications, or skin massages.

If you have hair loss issues that are becoming an everyday occurrence and not the last, then a trichologist can help and advise you to rejuvenate hair damaged by overheating (hair straighteners), chemically exposed hair (after perms and straight chemicals ), and even stress.
